Please contact List Osteopathy for more information.
Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit.
Osteopaths use a variety of techniques including movement, stretching, targeted deep tissue massage and manipulation of a person’s muscles and joints to improve function and mobility, relieve pain and aid in recovery.
Once the osteopath has found the root cause of the pain and discomfort they will give clear instructions and communicate what the treatment will involve, diagnosis and likely outcomes.
An Osteopath aims to promote restoration of normal function throughout the body by using a mix of hands-on treatment and exercise and lifestyle advice.
